Společnost Vivendi zveřejnila několik prvních in-game obrázků z připravované fantasy RTS Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring od tvůrčího týmu Liquid Entertainment. Hra, jež vychází ze slavné literární předlohy hráčům nabídne možnost hrát jak za stranu dobra, která se snaží zničit Prsten moci, tak i za stranu zla, která chce prsten získat zpět do své moci. To by však znamenalo konec celé Středozemě. LOTR: War of the Ring je první RTS postavená na slavném Tolkienově románu, jež přijde s možností ovládat jak v singleplayer kampani, tak i v multiplayer kláních známé postavy včetně Legolase, Gandalfa, Gimliho a další.
